I'm Anastasiia Marmyzova, Ukranian self taught illustrator, currently based in Canada.Â
Stacie Mar has been my creative alias for many years now. My mission is to create delicate and touching illustrations that transform your living space into a warm inviting haven & add a touch of beauty to the world around you.
My original designs are a harmonious blend of sophisticated characters, delicate florals and cute animals. I want my illustrations to be your timeless and loyal companion, something, that will warm your heart and encourage you to notice the beauty even in the tiny things and details.​​​​​​​
Born and raised in a family of architects, creativity has been a part of my DNA from day one. Despite earning a Master's degree in English/Greek translation and working in a different industry, my heart always longed to create beautiful products and picture books.Â
In 2021, I finally embraced my artistic calling and became a full-time illustrator. My patterns and illustrations found their way onto a variety of products: kids' clothing, bedding and toys, kitchen linens, mugs, wrapping paper, greeting cards, and even cakes. However, everything changed overnight due to unforeseen circumstances – the war in Ukraine.Â
In May 2022, I moved to Canada. It took nearly a year of dedication and hard work to reawaken my creative spirit. Now, I'm on a mission to transform my passion for illustration into a thriving business in Northwest America. I am open to new collaborations and licensing opportunities.
